Learn2Serve

Learn2Serve is an interactive leadership training course that aims to nurture, train and mobilise people within local churches to be better equipped for service in the Kingdom of God. When the Lord Jesus said that He “came not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45), He set an amazing standard for every Christian to aim for. When He said, “Whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (Mark 10:43) He emphasised that there are no exceptions; leaders are servants too.

Serving God is enabled as we understand His Word better and get a firmer grasp of what is involved in the functioning of a church. Consequently, this year, we will be looking at two major tracks:

Bible Doctrine – looking at key truths which run through the Scriptures
Leadership in Practice – we all interact with leaders even if we are not leaders and it is vital to know what the Bible expects of them

Each of the nine monthly Monday evening tutorials will be spent learning and exploring together issues related to these two tracks. There will be course material to work through during following month related to the issues covered in the tutorials.

Although this is the second year of a two year programme it is by no means essential to have done the first year; this year stands alone. It will be suitable for any Christian with a desire to serve God.
